This family in need came to our attention through SKUP. OC Heng Aik Ban paid an earlier visit to find out about their difficulties and needs. Nur Karmina is a single mother of 5 kids. She is jobless as she was made redundant due to the pandemic. She is depending solely on RM300 subsistence from the welfare department. The money in July was delayed and she was left with no money for food for the family. Her six-year-old son has a hole in the heart condition and bone structure problem. PP Sheila Kho immediately raised funds through her homemaker group of friends and send over groceries worth RM350, together with RM400 in cash to her with OC Heng.
Leo club of St Joseph Private School also sends over dried food for the family.
