Region 1 clubs successfully organised an Astro All Stars Lions Club Charity concert at the Sarawak Indoor Stadium, Petra Jaya,Kuching. The show was filled with laughter and games, under the showmanship of Ah Beng. Over 40 Leos from the various clubs came in force to help with the ushering and crowd control. All 12 clubs in the region participated by selling tickets , helping to get the stadium ready and on the concert night itself. All the nett fund will go to the building fund of Kuching Autistic Association and Chung Hua Primary Schoon No 1. The concert is estimated to gross around RM329,000.00. The Lions helped to raised over RM233,00000 of which ZC Sheila Kho raised over RM150,00000 of the total sum of RM154,850.00 under Lions Club of Kuching City.
