Once again, Lions Club of Kuching City organised its annual Christmas party for GROWTH (grow with the handicapped). Many of the participants who attended are regular faces from the past years' parties and we also made new friends with those who just joined us this year. Over 50 special friends attended with their families. Games were played and Christmas carols sang. This year we have a bumper of presents for everyone to take home, hence no one goes home empty handed. The project was jointly organised with the Ministry of Growth, Leo Club of St Teresa and Lodge Leo Club.
16 members from the club came to support this annual club's project. They are were President Jessie, OC IPP Vincent, Secretary Irene, Treasurer Kristie, 1st VP Andrew, 3rd VP Vera Chin, PDG Tan Soh Har, PP Caroline , PP Ivy, PP Sheila Adenan, PP Dora, PP Teresa , ZC Sheila Kho, Lion Kimmy, Lion Jane and Lion Lilian. PDG Tan Soh Har donated the angpows, President Jessie and PP Annie donated some of the presents, PP Dora and Lion Kimmy contributed fans and ZC Sheila Kho baked ginger bread men biscuits for the special guests, Leo and carolers .
