Seventeen members attended the function at The Banquet to honour the District Governor, Dato Betty Wong. The evening was also a presentation night for the clubs in Region 1. Awards on administrative and special achievements were given out to the clubs. Lions Club of Kuching City emerged as one of the Top Clubs in Region 1. It was also awarded the Most Efficient Club in Region 1 and The Best of the Best club award. PP Sheila Kho was awarded the Most Supportive Lion award during the function.
