Eleven Leos from St Teresa's Secondary School.accompanied by their teacher, Mdm Lesmy an Tipot and her family, and five Lions participated in the Lions and Leos family day from the 20th - 21st Oct 2012 at Siar Beach Resort, Lundu. The trip was filled with team building activities, mind searching and frustrating games to tax the brain. Through the activities, it brought the Leos and Lions closer. The outdoor games were conducted by PP Cecil Adenan( Kuching Allamada) and his staff, Encik Mohd Zailani Abdullah, an experienced outdoor trainer.
In the evening the Lions and Leos were treated to a barbeque of chicken wings, sausages and fresh crabs hosted by PP John Chua (Lions Club of Kuching Host), the boss of the resort. Thank you, Uncle John!
PP Sheila Kho gave two talks the next morning after breakfast. The first was an orientation for some of the new members, touching on how the Leos will benefit from being a Leo and the second session was on protocol and decorum- " How Leos should behave". Short quizzes were given on the Leos' knowledge of the Lions organization.
The Lions who participated were President Jessie Ho, 1st VP Andrew Tsen, PP Sheila Adenan, PP Caroline Sim and PP Sheila Kho.
Both the Lions and Leos had a fruitful time. They had lunch at Lundu town, hosted by all the five Lions and got home safely, tired but with good memories.
