Nineteen members attended the new members Induction cum Orientation Fellowship at Jambu Restaurant,Kuching on 18th May 2012. PDG Tan Soh Har inducted two new members, Lillian Lee and Jane Ling into the family of Lions. After the fellowship dinner, Orientation was conducted by a group of presenters. Facilitator DT Sheila Kho lead the group to speak on various areas of Lions Clubs International followed by a Fun Quiz  with prizes, sponsored by DT Sheila Kho. It was
a very pleasant evening filled with warm fellowship. The speakers prepared well and performed beyond their own expectation. This arrangement is part of the club's plan to train new speakers in the club and we have discovered many new talents amongst the members. Amongst those present that evening is Jane Sebastian, our ex member .and former club treasurer. The senior members who knew her were very happy to see her again and it is also an opportunity for the newer members to get to know her as she is one of the past contributor of the club. We were also happy to welcome a potential member, Jammie who came to join us in the fellowship. Thank you goes to the MC for the evening, Secretary Alice Kon who took up the job at the 11th hour without hesitation. Well done to everyone and we hope to have more of these enjoyable and meaningful fellowships in the future!
