Lions Club of Kuching City with 5 other Region 1 clubs donated towards the fund for the fire victims in Tebedu. District 308-A2 foundation donated RM2,000 towards this fund. 14 shophouses and 1 wooden house were burnt to the ground on 27 August 2011.
Lions Club of Kuching City was represented by President Vincent Tan, Treasurer Irene Tan and ZC1 Ivy Fong.
