Treasurer Caroline Sim sharing her experience as a Lion and how lionism changed her life

The club organised an orientation for the three new members on the 19th May 2015 at the Lions Nursing Home. The three new members are Heng Aik Ban, Patricia Chang and Jonathan Chew. PP Sheila Adenan spoke on the history of the Lions Clubs, the meaning of the emblem, logo, its objectives etc. President Irene briefed on the projects and activities that lions organise. Each person present also read a part of the Lions' Code of Ethics.PP Caroline shared how lionism changed her life and new member, Jonathan who is a former Leo at secondary school and at his university shared on why he decided to join the Lions. A quiz was given at the end of the session.

Twenty eight participants from the Region 1 Lions clubs attended the regional cabinet and club officers training school on the 16th May  2015. During the session, the participants listened to a public speaker and author, Nadia Chen from New Zealand who gave an inspirational talk.

The members who attended were President Irene Tan, PP Sheila Adenan, President elect Alice Kon, Secretary Jane Ling, IPP Andrew Tsen and OC for the function, PP Annie Ho.
