Japanese Youth Exchange students 28/7/2010

Two Japanese Youth Exchange students, Seika Namari and Riko Suenaga arrived in Kuching on the 28th July 2010 to stay with host mother, PP Annie Ho. They were welcomed by some of the club members at a steamboat dinner in the evening.

KAA Family Day ( Part 2)

Last Sunday morning saw over 100 excited children and their families arriving at Siar Beach Resort, some buzzing in by bus and others in their own cars. Decorated canopies stood ready to welcome the group who were all looking forward to a day of fun at the Kuching Autistic Association's (KAA) 1st Family Day.

The objective of the family day was to give the teachers, children and their families a day away from their daily routine, allowing them to spend some quality time together. Many activities were carried out throughout the day with full participation from the special children, volunteers and parents alike.

The fun kicked off with entertaining music, much to the delight of the special children from KAA. It was a learning opportunity and enriching experience for the volunteers who all acted as buddies for the day to their assigned special friends.

4th Zone Meeting 30th June 2010

The last zone meeting was held on the 30th June 2010 at Sanga Japanese restuarant, followed by fellowship and dinner hosted by zone chairman Peter Ong.

St Teresa's Leo Club - 25th Anniversary @ Jambu 26 June 2010

St Teresa's Leo Club celebrated its silver anniversary at Jambu Restuarant on the 26th June 2010 with Leo President Jessica Sammy,four past Leo presidents, leos, six members of Lions Club of Kuching City (President Caroline Sim, PDG Tan Soh Har, Leo Advisor Sheila Adnenan, PP Ivy Fong, Incoming Presiden Kelly Lim and Vice President Robert Bong), a past faculty advisor and the principal of the school.

Autistic Sales - Last project for the fiscal year 27 June 2010

12th BOD meeting and fellowship 21st June 2010

14 members gathered to attend the last BOD meeting cum fellowship for the successful fiscal year at Sarawak Club. Dinner was hosted after the meeting by President Caroline Sim and in-coming President Kelly Lim.
