In Loving Memory

PP Teresa Sim MJF

(departed 28th May 2007)

Remembrance

Remembrance is a golden chain
Death tries to break,
but all in vain.
To have, to love, and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of one's heart.
The years may wipe out many things
But some they wipe out never.
Like memories of those happy times
When we were all together.

"Unsung Heroes"

These four lions ( from left : Kassim, Nam Fah, Sheila, Kim Teck) were left high and dry at Kuching International Airport on the 23rd May 2009 by Malaysian Airlines. MH 2290 Kuching- Bintulu was supposed to leave at 7.30am. The flight was however cancelled due to technical fault in the aircraft. They were then put on a later flight at 11.30 am. Boarding passes were issued and complimentary Merrybrown nasi lemak were consumed. At the point of boarding, these four Lions were "thrown out" of the aircraft (not literally!) due to over booking. Stressed, tired and frustrated for missing the District Conference in Bintulu. However they were surprising calm when they dealt with the airport duty manager, Mr Voon. See their smiles in the photo - Kudos to these Lions!!

(btw -M.A.S. - you have just lived up to your famous name.)

Everything happened for a reason, though in this case we rather not know what the reason is!
